Book Description: This book is an abstract photographic viewpoint in response of my role as a carer, looking after my father, who had been diagnosed with Alzheimers desease. My photographs and text are in direct relation to this illness and my time spent caring for him. They share my experiences with his loss of memory, his mood changes and problems with language and his general degeneration of self.
Biography: I am an artist who is primarily using photography and predominately documenting the earth’s structure within our landscape. I am very interested in our navigational systematic structures as for example our road marking systems. Since my time as a carer for my father my photography has progressed with it’s abstracted output – hence my submitted book the Anomalies!
