Book Description : I spend a lot of time with my friends and I have many pictures of them. One day I was showing them to a fellow photographer and she said – ‘oh, we did the same kind of photos all the time’. So i asked her to show me those photos of her and her friends that they shot during their studies in the 1980s. She brought me her set of green photo albums and I spent some time looking through them. I compared the two archives – hers and mine – and found a large number of very identical photographs. Many of them were just like twins in terms of subject or composition. So, this book is about timelapse and sameness and mirroring lives. Photos by Tatyana Soldatova, Elena Kholkina.
